Thank you for taking the time to stop by! As an author, I publish works under both my given name, and the pen name of K.C. Berg. I have had a passion for writing my entire life, since long before John-Boy Walton became an icon in the 70's. My first novel, "In the Light of the Passing: Book 1" (published under the name of K.C. Berg), was named one of six finalists in the 2006 USA Book News competition. Both it and its sequel, "Brinda’s Promise: Book 2", received the Eric Hoffer award for notable fiction. "Fallen Angel", my paranormal romance published in 2013, was a finalist in both the Chatelaine 2014 Awards for Women's Fiction and BookBuzz.com 2014 Prize Writing Competition.
In addition to my novels, I write, produce, and direct stage plays. Adamantine, my one-act drama, placed in a national competition and was performed in New York City in 1998. All of my plays have received full productions, and have delighted audiences at locations such as the Machickanee Players Park Avenue Playhouse (Oconto, WI), The Box in the Woods/Mielke Arts Center (Shawano WI), The Atlantic Stage (Myrtle Beach, SC), and the Green Bay Community Theater (Green Bay, WI).
